CHRISTUS Health celebrates one year of expanding gastroenterology services

CHRISTUS Health is celebrating one year of expanding specialized and comprehensive gastroenterology care to the west side of Beaumont.

Over the past year, the clinic has provided preventive screenings, diagnostic testing and treatment for a wide range of digestive health conditions to nearly 2,500 patients. Services include colonoscopies, endoscopic procedures and specialized care for conditions affecting the esophagus, stomach, intestines, liver, gallbladder and pancreas.

“Digestive health is one of the most important parts of a person’s overall well-being,” said Dr. Sudhir Alampur, gastroenterologist with CHRISTUS Health. “Reaching this one-year milestone reflects the growing need for specialized GI services in our community, and we're proud to help patients receive the care they need."

Located at 6025 Metropolitan Drive, the clinic is part of CHRISTUS Health's growing network of specialty care, providing patients in West Beaumont with convenient access to comprehensive gastrointestinal services, a 24/7 emergency department, surgical services, physical therapy, advanced imaging and orthopedics.
